After spending a year in Monterrey, MX, Barbara fell in love with the cuisine of Mexico and developed a deep appreciation for Salsa Macha (Macha Chili Crisp), a condiment that captivated her palate.

Driven by the desire to share this exceptional flavor experience with others, she set out on a mission to recreate the perfect Macha Chili Crisp upon returning to her home in Central Illinois.

After an extensive search for comparable products in local markets proved futile, Barbara spent months meticulously deconstructing and reconstructing recipes.
